Mission

To preserve and promote Hindu traditions and values, empower individuals through education and skill development, and uplift underprivileged families by providing support for education and essential needs.

Past & Present Activities

  • Hindu Character Development: Conduct weekly courses to instil strong Hindu values and ethics in the community.
  • Thevaram Thirumurai Classes: Collaborate with the Malaysia Hindu Sangam to offer weekly classes on the sacred texts of Thevaram and Thirumurai.
  • Community Infrastructure: Maintain and upkeep the Hindu burial ground through public funding, ensuring a dignified resting place for the departed.
  • Community Empowerment: Disseminate crucial information on education, career opportunities, obituaries, business ventures, and other welfare-related matters to benefit the Indian community.
  • Financial Assistance: Provide financial aid to underprivileged families during times of bereavement to cover funeral expenses. Provide groceries and medication for families affected in flood and Covid 19 pandemic.
  • Spiritual Services: Conduct Athma Shanti and Home Poojas for families in need, offering solace and spiritual comfort.

Planned Activities for 2025

  • Community Health Initiative: Collaborate with Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat to organize a one-day health camp, offering free medical check-ups, health screenings, and consultations to the general public.
  • Educational Empowerment: Launch free tuition classes for underprivileged students, providing academic support and resources to help them succeed.
  • Community Recognition Event: Organize an appreciation event to honor individuals, both living and departed, who have made significant contributions to the Indian community in areas such as religious education, Thevaram Thirumurai teachings, Tamil and Hindu culture, and social services.
  • Advocacy for Community Infrastructure: Advocate for the allocation of a new Hindu burial ground for the town by submitting a formal request to the local Member of Parliament and Member of the Legislative Assembly.
